Zach Johnson is widely regarded as one of the elite golfers of his generation.
He captured the 2015 Open Championship at St. Andrews, winning the event in a thrilling playoff finish to win the 2nd Major Championship of his career.
His first Major Championship victory came at the 2007 Masters, after Zach shot a final round (69) to outlast Tiger Woods for the coveted green jacket.
In addition to these two wins, Zach has won a remarkable ten other times on the PGA Tour, and represented his country five times in the Ryder Cup, serving as Assistant Captain in 2021, and five times in the Presidents Cup, serving as the Assistant Captain in 2019. In 2018, Zach served as a Ryder Cup Vice Captain for Team USA. In February 2022, Zach was named 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain!
Last August, Zach was named the recipient of the 2020 Payne Stewart Award, in recognition of his character and extensive philanthropic efforts.
